Elizabeth Fennelly

Elizabeth (Liz) Fennelly is a photographer currently based in Portland, Oregon (where she is from originally), and formerly New York City & Brooklyn. She holds a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and works in both digital studio photography as well as analog and alternative processes. Currently, she is working on a series of tintypes of the van community in Portland utilizing a mobile darkroom. Her use of historical photographic processes, specifically the wet plate collodion process, is inspired by the first photographs of the Pacific Northwest by the USGS photographers.
