My developing body of work, like all of my work for the past 15 years, is rooted in a sense of place. The landscape and weather of the Pacific Northwest, ”my adopted home”, appears through misty scrims, hearkening back to Asian landscape ink paintings but expressed in contemporary materials and gestures.
