I look at it like I'm reading tea leaves. I make intuitive marks without much mental focus and then peer into them as if they hold all of life's mysteries. If I see something there, I'll enhance it to bring it forward. I primarily use highly fluid media, like acrylics and inks on paper or canvas to form an organic abstract structure and then layer in more angular elements with collage, or linework. The primary goal is to uncover a hidden world, a mood, a feeling. The intuitive beginning is the most important aspect and is where the mood lies.
