Leah Kohlenberg
As a Pacific Northwest native, I have a great affection for the ever present dripping rain that accompanies us through our daily lives. My paintings, whether they are of nature or the city, all try to reflect this rainy backdrop by containing drips throughout each composition. Playing with color is also important to me, to create a non-everyday feeling from otherwise routine scenes.
