Poppy Dully

I am a painter, printmaker and book artist. Storytelling is the theme that runs through all my work. I work in acrylics, oils, pastels, and ink. In my paintings, I respond to experiences and feelings in both landscape and figurative themes. In printing and my artist’s books, I integrate stories with images from related film or photos. Telling stories with words and images brings me closer to the viewer. The expanding collection of my travel journals encourages a close observation of each travel day. I have exhibited my paintings and prints since 1998. My artist’s books are in private and public collections including Stanford University, University of Washington, University of Southern California, Savannah College of Art and Design, University of Texas, Austin, and UCLA Film School.
