Lynn Lustberg
When I moved to Oregon 30 years ago, I was inspired to explore my artistic side. The natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the more relaxed pace of life combined to make this possible. I dipped my toe in the water first with drawing classes, then moved to watercolors, and ultimately found my perfect medium with pastels. What I love about pastels (in spite of their messiness!) are the intensity of the pigments and the ability to build up color through multiple layers of application. Many of my my personal photos serve as the references for my paintings.
