Volunteer : Support Us : Portland Open Studios

PORTLAND OPEN STUDIOS is seeking volunteer board members to help pivot our 22-year-old non profit arts organization. You should be an innovative thinker and interested in helping us to re-imagine how to aid the Portland art market generally, and to work with artists and our yearly event, Portland Open Studios, to remain viable. We are seeking to fill three positions: a treasurer position requiring some familiarity (or willingness to be trained) on Quickbooks and generating financial reports; a Secretary position; and an Artist Liaison position. Portland Open Studios runs a yearly juried open studio tour, creating a unique educational opportunity for the public to witness art in the making, and learn about media, materials and the business of the creative endeavor. Through this interaction, Portland Open Studios creates a platform for local artists to thrive, engage, and fosters a community that values the arts.
