In this chaotic and troubling time I have realized how important it is to communicate with others. My painting is one way that I can bridge the self and other divide. We are in this together. When I am creating and I can let go of expectations the work begins to present itself rather than forced. What is true begins to emerge. My wish is that my work evokes something in the viewer that sparks some kind of communication.
