Participation Fee and Agreements

Secure your place in this year's Portland Open Studios by submitting your participation fee and artist agreements below by April 8th. If you choose to pay in installments, your final payment must be made by April 30th. Please do not leave this page until you have entered all the required information and have successfully clicked on SEND. Artist Agreements

Participation
I agree to be present in the studio, at the address specified in my application form, during the advertised Open Studios hours, 10am to 4pm, on October 10, 11, 17, and 18.
Safety
I agree to keep my studio space safe, clean, and accessible to the public during tour hours.
Demonstration
I agree to show my artistic work process and will have current work available.
Promotion
I agree that the images of work submitted to Portland Open Studios with the application may be used to promote Open Studios exhibits and events.
Gallery relationships
If represented by a gallery or other business, I agree to acknowledge my gallery affiliation and honor any applicable contract with my gallery in regard to sales.
Liability
I understand that liability insurance for the event is my responsibility and hold Portland Open Studios harmless as to any injury or claim made by any person with regard to the tour.
Outside art & artists
In fairness to all artists juried in and paying a fee to participate in the Tour, I agree that the only artists greeting visitors in my studio during the tour dates will be myself and other accepted artists.
Respect
I agree to treat all patrons regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, financial background or ability with utmost respect and kindness while they are in my studio.
