Isabelle Soule

Isabelle Soule

Isabelle is drawn to the soulfulness of handmade objects and uses her time in my clay studio to slow down, pay attention, and focus on the creative process. She explores how functional objects can shape one's lived experience, and how something as simple as a bowl can transform routine into ritual.

"I work primarily in porcelain - a material both sensual and temperamental. Responsiveness and reciprocity are needed on my part to craft dinnerware that becomes a meaningful part of daily rituals: the morning pour, the solitary pause, the sharing of food in community. I see the table as a quiet stage where connection unfolds, and I hope my handmade pots provide beauty and nourishment for body and spirit."
