"My work is in acrylics, primarily landscapes. I especially love to paint en Plein Air. Spending a day by the side of a river or under a tree overlooking a field is a day well spent. I love color and use it to evoke emotion and help activate the viewer's senses so I can communicate the way I feel when I'm outdoors. I often bring my paintings back into the studio to continue to expand on my impressions. Bold brushstrokes, evocative color and lush nature are my favorite tools." |
