Tyler Bingham is a self taught mixed media artist that has been living in Portland, OR for the past 10 years. Working mostly with acrylic paint and colored pencil, he creates portraits of live subjects in studio, stream of conscious abstraction, and has painted a mirror study self portrait every month for the past 4 years. The topics of his abstract work touch on things like processing shame, being in love, reflecting on childhood memories and grappling with existence. His work is vibrant, lively, and full of expressive color.
